About Deven

Deven Philbrick is a writer and academic living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is currently a Frederick Donald Sober Postdoctoral Teaching and Research Fellow at the University of Michigan. His poetry and scholarship are closely related to his study of philosophy, especially process philosophy. He completed a doctoral dissertation, entitled Forms of Becoming: Process Metaphysics in the Works of William Carlos Williams, Charles Olson, Robert Duncan, and Nathaniel Mackey, in 2025.
